On November 12, HKPF held a cross-sectoral traffic accident exercise code-named "QUICKSKILL 2021" at the Tuen Mun EcoPark to strengthen the resilience and cooperation of various stakeholders in handling major traffic accidents.

The exercise simulated a private car driver who was driving under the influence of drugs, causing a truck, coach and school bus to collide, resulted in multiple trapped casualties. More than 200 representatives from the New Territories North Region, Castle Peak District Auxiliary Police, Marine Police, Fire Services Department, Government Flying Service, Hong Kong St. John Ambulance Service, Kwong Ming Ying Loi School and related organisations participated in the exercise.

HKPF will continue to conduct regular cross-sectoral exercises to test and refine contingency plans to prepare for rescue operations in response to major incidents.
