If you are a medical professional specialised in accident and emergency medicine; if you want to challenge yourself to work in remote or less-equipped environment; if you enjoy flying and are willing to volunteer to serve the community in addition to your own duty, the Government Flying Service (GFS) Air Medical Officer (AMO) / Air Medical Nursing Officer (AMNO) may be a good choice for you. As a GFS AMO / AMNO, you will exercise your expertise to prevent further medical complications to help patients/causalities on the road to hospital. In certain situations, you may become someone else’s lifeline for their survival.

Training for an Aircraft Engineer in the GFS includes aircraft type training on the GFS fleet – fixed-wing aircraft and helicopters – locally and overseas. There will also be detachments to other sections within the GFS to broaden their knowledge of the GFS operations.
